The East Burke Cavaliers baseball team (Connelly Springs, NC), was overwhelmed 13-7 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC)
The Ironmen now hold a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincolnton for a non-league outing on Monday, March 27.
Next, the Cavaliers confront the West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, March 24. East Burke will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Rebels go into the outing with a 1-4 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Newton-Conover (Newton, NC).
