Newton Rams (Covington, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Newton upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Rams host Dutchtown (Hampton, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, March 25. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 5-2.

With the defeat, Woodland falls to 6-3 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to Luella (Luella, GA) to battle the Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, March 30. The Lions come into the test with a record of 0-3.
