The Bexley Lions lacrosse team scored 9 points and held the host Wakefield Wolverines to 5 in the Lions non-league win on Thursday.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks go into the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Marvin Ridge nudged Parkwood (Monroe, NC), 19-1, in a league match.

The Wolverines (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Fike (Wilson, NC). The Demons go into the Northern Athletic match with a 0-7 record. In their last match, Fike was overwhelmed by Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC), 15-1, in a league match.
