Edisto Cougars (Cordova, SC) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders (Bamberg, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 24. Edisto will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 7-1 league win over Bethune-Bowman (Orangeburg, SC).
The Saints (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against Bamberg-Ehrhardt (Bamberg, SC). The Red Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Bamberg-Ehrhardt nudged Edisto (Cordova, SC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
