Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Golden Tors now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Church Point for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 27.

With the loss, Comeaux falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Spartans host Barbe (Lake Charles, LA) to battle the Buccaneers in a 5A District 3 challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a record of 6-10.
