The El Capitan Vaqueros softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Point Loma Pointers to 3 in the Vaqueros non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, El Capitan improves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Vaqueros travel to West Hills (Santee, CA) to clash with the Wolf Pack in a non-league game on Saturday, March 25. The Wolf Pack come into the game with a record of 7-4. West Hills won 5-4 in their recent non-league game against Brawley (Brawley, CA)

In their next game, the Pointers clash with the Mar Vista Mariners (Imperial Beach, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 24. Point Loma will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Mariners come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 12-4 non-league win over Mission Bay (San Diego, CA).
