Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Scorpions now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Robertson for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 24. Farmington will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Espanola Valley falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Sundevils host Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to face the Hilltoppers in a 4A District 2 challenge on Wednesday, March 29. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Los Alamos lost 8-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Farmington (Farmington, NM)
