The Gallup Bengals softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Valencia Jaguars to 0 in the Bengals non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Gallup moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Bengals travel to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, March 24. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 4-3. Alamogordo won 4-2 in their recent non-league game against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM)
In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 24. Valencia will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the game with a 5-2 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Aztec (Aztec, NM).
