The Northampton Yellowjackets softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Norfolk Christian Ambassadors to 3 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Northampton moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Yellowjackets host King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA) to clash with the Royal Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, March 24. The Royal Tigers come into the game with a record of 0-4. King & Queen Central lost 15-11 in their recent non-league game against Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA)

In their next game, the Ambassadors clash with the Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Tidewater Independent game, on Tuesday, March 28. Norfolk Christian will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
