In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Allen Eagles baseball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Highland Park Scots.
The Eagles (16-6) will now prepare for their game against Rock Hill (Frisco, TX). The Blue Hawks go into the 6A Region I District 5 game with a 10-4 record. In their last game, Rock Hill was overwhelmed by Prosper (Prosper, TX), 12-0, in a league game.
The Scots (7-10) will now prepare for their game against Dallas Jesuit (Dallas, TX). The Rangers go into the 6A Region I District 7 game with a 20-2 record. In their last game, Dallas Jesuit tipped Irving (Irving, TX), 10-0, in a league game.
