The Boonville Pirates baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Pilot Grove Tigers to 1 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.

The Pirates (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Hallsville (Hallsville, MO). The Indians go into the Class 4 District 8 match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Hallsville was overwhelmed by Hickman (Columbia, MO), 10-0, in a non-league match.

The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Jamestown (Jamestown, MO). The go into the Class 1 District 9 match with a 2-2 record.
