Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA) and the visiting Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA), saw Monroe's baseball squad edge Gig Harbor by a margin of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Bearcats play the Kamiak Knights (Mukilteo, WA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 25. Monroe will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.

The Tides now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to River Ridge for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 26. Gig Harbor will play a Hawks squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Timberline (Lacey, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-2.
