The Vandegrift Vipers baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Glenn Grizzlies to 3 in the Vipers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Vipers (14-7) will now prepare for their match against McNeil (Austin, TX). The Mavericks go into the 6A Region IV District 25 match with a 8-13 record. In their last match, McNeil was edged by Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX), 6-1, in a league match.
The Grizzlies (8-13) will now prepare for their match against Hays (Buda, TX). The Hawks go into the 5A Region IV District 25 match with a 15-4 record. In their last match, Hays edged Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin (Austin, TX), 8-0, in a non-league match.
