Kentucky High School Baseball - Metcalfe County loses to Grayson County

The Metcalfe County Hornets baseball team (Edmonton, KY), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY)

The Cougars now hold a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hart County for a non-league outing on Monday, March 25. Grayson County will confront a Raiders team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Bardstown (Bardstown, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 2-6.

Next, the Hornets confront the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) in a District 16 outing, on Tuesday, March 26. Metcalfe County will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 7-2 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Casey County (Liberty, KY).
