The Tigers now hold a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Northlake Christian for a 2A District 7 outing on Monday, March 25. Independence will face a Wolverines team coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-13.

Next, the Trojans face the West Feliciana Saints (St. Francisville, LA) in a 4A District 6 outing, on Tuesday, March 26. Tara will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Saints enter the outing with a 17-3 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA).
