In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL) baseball squad triumphed over the host Midfield Patriots (Midfield, AL), by a final score of 13-1.

With the win, Parker improves its record to 14-5 on the year. The Thundering Herd host Carver Birmingham (Birmingham, AL) to clash with the Rams in a non-league game on Monday, March 25. The Rams go into the game with a record of 3-10. Carver Birmingham won 18-4 in their recent non-league game against Midfield (Midfield, AL)

The Patriots (5-12) will now prepare for their game against Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL). The Colonels go into the non-league game with a 4-13 record. In their last game, Woodlawn was overwhelmed by Parker (Birmingham, AL), 17-2, in a non-league game.
