Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Ballard Bruins (Louisville, KY), 12-7 in a non-league battle.

The Spartans now have a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bryan Station for a CHSGLL East battle on Tuesday, March 26. Sayre will clash with a Defenders squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Defenders record now stands at 1-1.

In their next game, the Bruins clash with the Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 23. Ballard will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 17-7 league loss to Sayre (Lexington, KY).
