In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Springfield Senators soccer squad scored a close 7-2 triumph over the Hannibal Pirates.
The Senators (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL). The Crimsons come into the Central State Eight battle with a 0-2 record.
The Pirates (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against West Plains (West Plains, MO). The Zizzers come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, West Plains was overwhelmed by Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL), 6-0, in a league battle.
