North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Asheville School (Independent) can't get by Asheville

In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Asheville Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-10 victory over the Asheville School (Independent) Blues.

The Cougars now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Watauga for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills test on Tuesday, March 26. Asheville will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Patton (Morganton, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-5.

In their next game, the Blues face the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles (Rabun Gap, GA) in a test, on Tuesday, March 26. Asheville School (Independent) will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 5-1 record after their 11-9 non-league loss to Baylor (Chattanooga, TN).
