The Plant Panthers got by the visiting New Trier Trevians lacrosse team by a score of 9-8 in Saturday's non-league match.
With the win, Plant upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Panthers host Gonzaga (Washington, DC) to play the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, March 25. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 2-3. Gonzaga won 18-9 in their recent non-league match against Jesuit (Tampa, FL)
With the defeat, New Trier drops to 1-2 on the season. The Trevians travel to IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL) to meet the Ascenders in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. The Ascenders enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. IMG Academy lost 11-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Cardinal Mooney (Sarasota, FL)
