In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Pike Road Patriots soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Giles County Bobcats.
The Patriots (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Hazel Green nudged Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Bobcats (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lawrence County (Lawrenceburg, TN). The Wildcats come into the AA District 8 battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Lawrence County was overwhelmed by Page (Franklin, TN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
