Rison Wildcats (Rison, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR), 17-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Glen Rose for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. Rison will face a Beavers squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Conway Christian (Conway, AR). The Beavers record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Acorn falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Spring Hill (Hope, AR) to clash with the Bears in a 2A Region 7 test on Thursday, March 28. The Bears come into the test with a record of 1-6.
