The Bruce Trojans softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Starkville Yellowjackets to 2 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Bruce moves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Ingomar (New Albany, MS) to clash with the Falcons in a 2A Region 2 game on Tuesday, March 26. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 2-6.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS) in a 7A Region 2 game, on Tuesday, March 26. Starkville will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Arrows come into the game with a 7-5 record after their 6-3 league loss to Madison Central (Madison, MS).
