The Cedar Creek Cougars softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Caddo Magnet Mustangs to 2 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Cedar Creek moves its record to 9-12 on the year. The Cougars travel to Quitman (Quitman, LA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league game on Saturday, March 23. The Wolverines come into the game with a record of 19-4. Quitman won 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Sulphur (Sulphur, LA)

In their next game, the Mustangs play the Downsville Demons (Downsville, LA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 23. Caddo Magnet will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Demons come into the game with a 9-13 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to D'Arbonne Woods (Farmerville, LA).
