The McCracken County Mustangs softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Carbondale Terriers to 4 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, McCracken County moves its record to 10-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Henderson County (Henderson, KY) to clash with the Colonels in a non-league game on Thursday, March 28. The Colonels come into the game with a record of 8-1. Henderson County won 12-2 in their recent non-league game against North Posey (Poseyville, IN)

In their next game, the Terriers clash with the Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) in a South Seven game, on Thursday, March 28. Carbondale will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Orphans come into the game with a 5-1 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Breese Central (Breese, IL).
