In Saturday's non-league contest, the Diamond Ranch Panthers (Pomona, CA) softball team held off the host Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA), by a margin of 10-9.
With the triumph, Diamond Ranch moves its record to 4-7 on the year. The Panthers travel to Schurr (Montebello, CA) to play the Spartans in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 23. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 14-1. Schurr won 11-0 in their recent league contest against Montebello (Montebello, CA)
In their next game, the Silver Knights play the Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 23. Riverside Prep will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 4-8 record after their 8-1 league loss to South Hills (West Covina, CA).
