The Dyer County Choctaws routed the host Rogers Pirates softball squad by a final score of 9-4 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Choctaws (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Stewarts Creek (Smyrna, TN). The Red Hawks go into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Stewarts Creek nudged Macon County (Lafayette, TN), 11-7, in a non-league battle.
The Pirates now possess a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln County for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 23. Rogers will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Carterville (Carterville, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 10-2.
