Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Forrest Rockets (Chapel Hill, TN) and the visiting Stewarts Creek Red Hawks (Smyrna, TN), witnessed Forrest's softball squad tip Stewarts Creek by a count of 7-3.

The Rockets now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league match on Saturday, March 23. Forrest will face a Cougars squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Franklin (Franklin, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Stewarts Creek moves to 6-4 on the season. The Red hawks travel to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Monday, March 25. The Blue Devils go into the match with a record of 3-2. Warren Township lost 9-1 in their recent non-league match against Mount Juliet (Mt. Juliet, TN)
