In Saturday's non-league contest, the St. Paul Cardinals (Shiner, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting IDEA South Flores Owls (San Antonio, TX), by a margin of 6-1.

With the triumph, St. Paul moves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Cardinals host Sacred Heart (Hallettsville, TX) to play the Indians in a TAPPS Division IV District 5 contest on Thursday, April 4. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 15-6.

In their next game, the Owls play the Somerset Academy Collegiate Bears (San Antonio, TX) in a contest, on Tuesday, March 26. IDEA South Flores will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 13-9 non-league win over Medina (Medina, TX).
