In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Sullivan East Patriots softball team scored a close 8-5 win over the Johnson County Longhorns.

Coming up next, the Patriots encounter the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones (Elizabethton, TN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 23. Sullivan East will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Fighting Cyclones enter the outing with a 5-2 record after their 6-0 league loss to Tennessee (Bristol, TN).

The Longhorns (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Unicoi County (Erwin, TN). The Blue Devils enter the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Unicoi County was routed by David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN), 6-5, in a league outing.
