The Mansfield Lions softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Spokane Owls to 9 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Mansfield moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Lions host Norwood (Norwood, MO) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league game on Thursday, March 28. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Owls clash with the Blue Eye Bulldogs (Blue Eye, MO) in a Class 1 District 5 game, on Tuesday, March 26. Spokane will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
