Orem Tigers (Orem, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pine View Panthers (St. George, UT), 12-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lone Peak for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. Orem will face a Knights squad coming off a 18-5 non-league loss to Mountain View (Orem, UT). The Knights record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Pine View falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Snow Canyon (St. George, UT) to face the Warriors in a 4A Region 9 challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 11-2. Snow Canyon won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Rigby (Rigby, ID)
