The Russell Red Devils softball squad scored 9 runs and restricted the visiting Pike County Central Hawks to 5 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Saturday.

The Red Devils now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Raceland for a District 63 match on Monday, March 25. Russell will face a Rams squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Rams record now stands at 6-0.

In their next game, the Hawks play the Shelby Valley Wildcats (Pikeville, KY) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 25. Pike County Central will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record.
