In Sunday's non-league test, the North Eugene Highlanders (Eugene, OR) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Putnam Kingsmen (Milwaukie, OR), by a tally of 8-0.
Next, the Highlanders clash with the Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 24. North Eugene will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Wolverines go into the test with a 5-0 record after their 18-0 non-league win over North Salem (Salem, OR).
The Kingsmen (2-1) will now prepare for their test against South Eugene (Eugene, OR). The Axe go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, South Eugene prevailed over Springfield (Springfield, OR), 12-3, in a non-league test.
