Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA) followers left the game thrilled Monday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the visiting Bell City Bruins (Bell City, LA), 10-2 in a non-league game.

The Greyhounds (17-6) will now prepare for their game against Midland (Midland, LA). The Rebels go into the 2A District 6 game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, Midland was overwhelmed by Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy (Lafayette, LA), 12-2, in a league game.

Next, the Bruins play the Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons (Cade, LA) in a B District 6 game, on Thursday, March 26. Bell City will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 2-10 record after their 17-3 non-league loss to Westminster Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA).
