The Howell Vikings baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Eureka Wildcats to 3 in the Vikings non-league win on Monday.
The Vikings now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Zumwalt West for a Class 6 District 4 test on Tuesday, March 24. Howell will play a Jaguars team coming off a 8-7 league win over Troy-Buchanan (Troy, MO). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-0.
The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Troy-Buchanan (Troy, MO). The Trojans come into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Troy-Buchanan was nudged by Fort Zumwalt West (O'Fallon, MO), 8-7, in a league outing.
