Illinois High School Baseball - Normal University prevails MacArthur

March 23, 2026: Normal, IL 61761

The Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) baseball overwhelmed the visiting MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL), 9-0 in Monday's league bout.

Next up, the Pioneers encounter the Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) in a Central State Eight bout, on Wednesday, March 25. Normal University will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Rockets enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Morton (Morton, IL).

The Generals (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL). The Cyclones enter the Central State Eight bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Sacred Heart-Griffin gained a win over Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL), 13-1, in a non-league challenge.
