The Santa Rosa Lions baseball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Melrose Buffaloes to 1 in the Lions non-league win on Monday.

The Lions now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hozho Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, March 26. Santa Rosa will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Wolves record now stands at 4-3.
