In Monday's non-league match, the host Willow Springs Bears softball team scored a nice 13-3 victory over the Dora Falcons.
The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Alton (Alton, MO). The Comets go into the Class 2 District 4 match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Alton gained a win over Cabool (Cabool, MO), 17-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Fordland Eagles (Fordland, MO) in a match, on Tuesday, March 24. Dora will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
