North Carolina High School Softball - Millbrook sneaks past Wake Prep Academy

The Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC) softball nipped the visiting Wake Prep Academy Guardians (Wake Forest, NC), 13-12 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broughton for a CAP 8A test on Tuesday, March 24. Millbrook will clash with a Capitals squad coming off a 21-12 league loss to Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Capitals record now stands at 2-5.

The Guardians (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC). The Bulldogs go into the Quad County 2A/3A/4A test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Nash Central was nudged by Bunn (Bunn, NC), 18-2, in a league test.
