Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) and the visiting Thomas Nelson Generals (Bardstown, KY), saw Meade County's baseball squad knock off Thomas Nelson by a count of 9-5.

Coming up next, the Green Waves play the Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 28. Meade County will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.

The Generals now possess a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Hardin for a non-league contest on Friday, March 25.
