In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Caldwell Academy soccer squad scored a close 8-1 triumph over the The Burlington School Spartans.
The (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC). The Bengals come into the NCISAA Piedmont battle with a 2-5 record.
The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Statesville Christian (Statesville, NC). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Statesville Christian was overwhelmed by Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
