North Carolina High School Baseball - Forbush gets by Ashe County

March 24, 2022: East Bend, NC 27018

Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) and the visiting Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC), saw Forbush's baseball squad beat Ashe County by a margin of 6-4.

Coming up next, the Falcons play the West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) in a battle, on Friday, March 25. Forbush will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Blackhawks enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 11-1 league loss to Forbush (East Bend, NC).

The Huskies now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hibriten for a battle on Friday, March 25. Ashe County will play a Panthers squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 4-0.
