In Thursday's non-league contest, the Cary Academy Chargers (Cary, NC) lacrosse squad edged the host St. David's Warriors (Raleigh, NC), by a count of 9-8.

Coming up next, the Chargers confront the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 25. Cary Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Villains come into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 19-2 league win over North Davidson (Lexington, NC).

The Warriors now own a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Raleigh Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, March 28. St. David's will battle a Knights team coming off a 17-3 league loss to Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-4.
