The Morenci Wildcats softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Browne Bruins to 2 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Morenci moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Kingman Academy (Kingman, AZ) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, March 25. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 10-3. Kingman Academy won 11-8 in their recent league game against Globe (Globe, AZ)
In their next game, the Bruins clash with the Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ) in a 6A Metro game, on Monday, March 28. Browne will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 4-6 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ).
