The Captain Shreve Gators softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Byrd Yellow Jackets to 2 in the Gators league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Captain Shreve moves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Gators host Haughton (Haughton, LA) to clash with the Buccaneers in a 5A District 1 game on Tuesday, March 29. The Buccaneers come into the game with a record of 5-2.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Caddo Magnet Mustangs (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 25. Byrd will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 1-3 record after their 15-0 league loss to North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA).
