The Cleveland Central Wolves softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Independence Wildcats to 3 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Cleveland Central moves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Wolves host Lafayette (Oxford, MS) to clash with the Commodores in a 5A Region 1 game on Tuesday, March 29. The Commodores come into the game with a record of 3-5.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Mantachie Mustangs (Mantachie, MS) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 25. Independence will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record.
