The Southwest Guilford Cowboys softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting High Point Central Bison to 0 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Southwest Guilford moves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a Metro 4A game on Friday, March 25. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 3-5. Ragsdale lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

In their next game, the Bison clash with the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) in a Mid-State 3A game, on Friday, March 25. High Point Central will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Camels come into the game with a 2-7 record after their 16-5 league loss to Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC).
