Utah High School Softball - Lone Peak bounces Juab

March 24, 2022: Nephi, UT 84648

Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT) and the host Juab Wasps (Nephi, UT), witnessed Lone Peak's softball squad prevail over Juab by a count of 11-1.

The Knights now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Skyridge for a 6A Region 4 match on Tuesday, March 29. Lone Peak will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Wasatch (Heber City, UT). The Falcons record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Juab moves to 6-3 on the season. The Wasps host Union (Roosevelt, UT) to meet the Cougars in a 3A Region 14 match on Friday, March 25. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 3-8. Union lost 13-7 in their recent non-league match against South Summit (Kamas, UT)
