Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA) and the visiting Mira Mesa Marauders (San Diego, CA), witnessed Valhalla's softball squad tip Mira Mesa by a count of 7-3.

The Norsemen now sport a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Mount Miguel for a Grossmont Valley match on Tuesday, March 29. Valhalla will face a Matadors squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Francis Parker (San Diego, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Mira Mesa moves to 2-10 on the season. The Marauders travel to El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to face the Vaqueros in a non-league match on Saturday, March 26. The Vaqueros go into the match with a record of 8-4. El Capitan won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA)
